Jebel Ali School, one of the oldest schools in the UAE, opened on 22 September 1977 to serve children of expatriate employees involved in building Jebel Ali Port. The school follows the British National Curriculum from FS1 through Year 13, offering GCSE, IGCSE, and A-level qualifications. In 2016 it relocated to a state-of-the-art campus in the Akoya development.
